Here, you’ll find a selection of projects I’ve developed through coursework, personal

initiatives, and my jobs in marketing, social media, and freelance website design.

Project Portfolio

Grace Preschool Website

2026

For Grace Preschool, I designed an 11-page website in Wix, creating the site’s structure, layout, and visual direction. I also refined a ChatGPT-generated logo in Adobe Illustrator, designed several versions of the logo for phsyical and digital use, and incorporated the updated branding throughout the website. The final design combines a warm, approachable style with organized navigation and easy-to-find information for families.

Martha Espiritu Reading and Writing Tutoring Website

2026

I designed the logo in Adobe Illustrator and then built Martha Espiritu’s Reading and Writing Tutoring website from scratch in WordPress using Elementor, carrying the visual identity throughout the site.

I’m especially proud of the testimonials page, which features real stories from students Martha has helped on their journeys to schools like MIT, Stanford, and Yale. Their experiences really show the impact of her guidance.

Montevideo Improvement Association Website Redesign

2025 – 2026

I redesigned the Montevideo Home Improvement Association’s WordPress website, creating a more intuitive and modern experience for residents. After conducting user research and resident surveys, I redesigned the site’s information architecture, developed 20+ custom pages, improved navigation, and optimized the site for search engines and responsive use across all devices.

I also designed and implemented a fully functional booking system for swim lessons and a reservation system for community amenities, streamlining scheduling for both residents and administrators. To support long-term maintenance, I built reusable Elementor templates, trained the HOA board to manage the site, and presented the completed project. The result is a user-centered website that makes community information and services easier to access and manage.

Social Media Manager: SJSU M.S. in Mass Communications

2025 – Present

As a Social Media Manager I developed and executed social media campaigns to promote the M.S. in Mass Communications program at San José State University. Focused on reaching current and prospective graduate students, I aimed to address the communication challenge of growing a newly launched Instagram presence.

To tackle the broader problem of visibility and student recruitment, I created the “Their Stories” campaign, featuring alumni and current students and highlighting their internships, career paths, and experiences. I also designed the program logo and produced flyers to support outreach efforts. All campaign visuals and promotional materials were created using Adobe Photoshop and Canva. These efforts led to the account’s 100+ follower count, increased overall engagement, and raised the average post reach to about 500 views.

Social Media & Website Intern: UCSB Humanities and Fine Arts Division

2024

As a Social Media and Website Intern for the Humanities and Fine Arts Division at UCSB, I created digital and print content to engage current students and attract prospective ones interested in the arts and humanities.

The goal was to increase awareness of campus events and improve attendance at resources beyond the classroom. To address this, I wrote and published news and feature articles on the division’s Squarespace site, designed physical flyers and a new logo, and worked on a team to manage posts across Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube to an audience of over 2,000 followers.

Through these combined efforts, the division strengthened its online presence and broadened student engagement with its programs and events.

Peri Winkel Jewelry: Business Owner

2023 – Present

Peri Winkel Jewelry is a small local brand I created to sell handmade, nature-inspired jewelry for young adults. The main challenge was reaching interested customers and encouraging both purchases and custom orders while building a clear, recognizable brand. I used multiple channels to connect with buyers, most revenue comes from in-person markets and boutique sales, especially themed events like LGBTQIA+ and Christmas markets, supported by consistent social media posting on Instagram and TikTok, and a Wix website for online sales. I also have a permanent location within a Tattoo Studio in Santa Barbara. Graphics like the logo were designed through Adobe Illustrator, and product photos were taken using a Canon PowerShot SX60 HS.

Through these efforts, the brand has grown to 250 followers, averages at 30 likes per post, and has achieved 500+ sales across in-person and online platforms.
